January 30
Today I take time to appreciate nature
Gandhi’s teachings remind us that throwing away an unused pencil is a form of violence against a tree. Today I remember that all of nature is sacred. I notice God in my surroundings
as the beauty in a brilliant sunset or the power in a raging storm. I see God expressing in all of creation as everything from insects to new born kittens. I am struck by the infinite expressions
of God. And in Gandhi’s teaching, I am reminded to appreciate the trees... in my backyard, my neighborhood, the rain forests, and in all forests and jungles on the planet. God is infinitely
incomprehensible, but in my life and surroundings, I easily see the Truth. Today, I see God as full expression in all of nature, and I am grateful

Today I act in kind and loving ways
When I behold the world through the eyes of God, I am awestruck by the beauty of every human being. Today, I remember that we are all God’s precious children and see beyond appearances.
Today, it’s easy for me to be kind and share the profound love of God with others. I may offer a kind word, pick up the newspaper for a neighbor, or open the door for a stranger. I consciously
choose to “turn the other cheek” to people who act in ways which are hurtful to me. When I act in kind and loving ways, I do my part to make the world a peaceful and beautiful
place. Today I find new ways to be kind and loving to all humankind.
February 1
Today I smile, have fun and laugh
God’s irrepressible life-force expresses within me as a never-ending fountain of joy. Today, I am aware that at the very center of my being is an endless source of energy, vigor and
enthusiasm. This is my purest essence, and I delight in each new experience. Expressing as God’s radiance and light, I become as a child and seek new ways to play and have fun.
Perhaps I walk through the day smiling at everyone I see, sharing jokes or funny stories. I engage in activities that warm my heart and lift my spirit. I dance through the day knowing that
life is good and each moment is a precious gift. I choose smiling, fun and laughter in every moment this day.

Today I help someone in need
Mother Teresa said: “God has no hands but ours.”
Today, I make a conscious choice to notice people in need and be God’s hands in action. I notice and am grateful for my God-given gifts and talents. Perhaps I am brilliant with carpentry
or numbers, or I have the gift of compassion. Whatever my gifts or talents, I find ways to offer them in service to others as an act of devotion to God. I offer myself to others by helping
them solve problems, running errands or lending a compassionate ear. I make a difference in people’s lives. I dedicate myself to allowing God to express through me to someone in need.
February 3
Today I appreciate the diversity of humankind
Sweet Presence of God, thank you for the variety and diversity of all peoples. We are the threads of a great and living tapestry. Distance and differences set us apart, yet we are all one
in You. Your Spirit within each of us binds all humankind together in a beautiful and perfect pattern. I marvel at the colors and beauty of skin, from the darkest ebony to the palest ivory.
I delight in the innocence of each new born and welcome the wisdom of my elders. Holy One, there are a multitude of practices, languages and peoples who honor and worship You, each in their
own way. Today I appreciate the beauty of the diversity of all humankind. Thank you, God, that when You thought of creation, You thought of us. Together, we are the perfect expression of Your
love.

Today I say only good things
Today I remember that in and through me moves the Spirit of the living God. When I consciously connect with that Spirit, within me beats a loving heart and my eyes behold the beauty of all
peoples. God is all good, all grace, all harmony and all healing. Today, I open my heart and my eyes to see only the highest and best in all people. In every circumstance and communication,
I open myself as a vessel through which only words of encouragement, appreciation, and praise are spoken. Sweet Spirit, You are in each person, place and thing. Today I dedicate and consecrate
myself to uplifting others. I offer my voice as Your voice, that the words that I speak are the words you would offer. Today, I say only good things.
February 5
Today I say, “I love you”
Holy Presence that lives in me, today I offer myself as a vessel for Your love. I open myself to be filled to overflowing with Your divine love, and it pours out from me as a soothing balm
to all who hear me speak the words, “I love you.” With these three small words, I honor Your Spirit of love in me and in others. Today, sweet love light, I am the vessel through
which the words “I love you” pour. They flow through me without restraint, offering Your comfort and love as a blessing upon Your family. I am Yours; guide me. Use me as an instrument
of Your love, that love which shines in the darkness, lifts feelings of despair and loneliness, and heals the mind, body and spirit. Thank you God, for those three small words,
“I love you.”
