Today I praise someone for their efforts
Dear Kind and Loving Presence, today I speak words of praise.
I recognize and appreciate every person’s kind act or gesture of service. Whether it is making and pouring a cup of coffee, or offering an unexpected kindness to a stranger, I notice the efforts of others and express my gratitude. Giving praise and appreciation is one way for me to expand my awareness of all of the good in my life. Giving and expressing praise is a spiritual discipline. As I acknowledge You, God, active and present in the world through the actions of others, I praise creation and give You thanks. When I fill myself with gratitude to overflowing, people seem to change for the better before my very eyes. Yet, it is not others that are changed, it is me. When I easily greet and praise the greatness in everyone I meet, I do my part to make the world a better place. Thank You God!

Today I use words that lift and inspire others
As I go about the activities of my day, I take the opportunity to bless each person that I meet. I know that the words I use can have a powerful influence on others, so I chose my words with love and wisdom. I honor the sacredness of each blessed being I meet on this path so that I become an instrument of God’s love and joy. I realize the importance of my words when I compare them to the ripples a small pebble makes when it is tossed into a pond. In just this way, my words move into the world in ever expanding circles, blessing each one they touch. My words are a beautiful symphony that bring peace to everyone I meet. I choose words that are a soothing balm to all my spiritual brothers and sisters. Thank you God for the gift of words that uplift and inspire everyone I encounter.

Today I speak my truth, honestly and from the heart
When I align my will with Your will, God, I trust that the words I speak are pure expressions of unconditional love. It is said, “You shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free.” Our divine connection sets me free to speak my truth, honestly and from the heart. When I listen to my heart, Spirit within reveals just the right words to say. I speak only words that serve the highest good for all. Speaking from my heart, the words are as warm and soothing as the sun’s glorious rays of light. My heartfelt words of honesty act as a sacred temple, offering illumination in the darkness and sheltering the discouraged or disillusioned. I give thanks for the ability and courage to speak my truth honestly and from the heart.

Today I commit an act of kindness toward our planet
Kind and Loving Creator, I know how very blessed I am to be living on such a magnificent planet. I take every opportunity I can to acknowledge and bless the Mother Earth from which all bounty flows. I do whatever I can to sustain and protect the natural health and delicate balance of this dear planet.
I do whatever I can to conserve her precious natural resources. I choose wisely and buy products that are kind to our planet. I recycle and reuse whenever possible. I remember that I share this planet with many other of Your dear and wondrous creations. I honor and respect this incredibly generous planet for what it provides to all life forms. This planet is my Home, and I do what I can to keep it beautiful and clean. I give thanks, and today I commit an act of kindness toward the planet.

Today I treat all animals kindly
I honor all of life in its many forms. I see every creature as a wondrous and sacred expression of God. I marvel at the complex, interdependent cycles of life in our world and awaken to my true relationship with all creation. The animals that walk on the land, the birds that fly in the sky, the many life forms in the sea — all creatures of the earth are my brothers and sisters. We are One family, One creation. I recognize God as Creator. I love, honor and nurture the Earth and all life forms as a way of worshipping God. I am One with the Creator. Today, I serve as an instrument of Divine will, healing, and love by treating all animals kindly.

Today I give thanks for the children of the world
I celebrate the energy, enthusiasm, vitality, imagination and spirit that children bring to the world. They are our teachers and awaken us to the child-like presence that dwells within each of us. The master teacher Jesus implored us to become as little children — to be joy, love, play and wonder — freeing ourselves from acting out of memories, behaviors and thinking patterns that no longer serve us. Thank you God, for the mirror of myself I see in every child. Help me more consciously behave in ways that honor the truth: they are the love; they are the joy; they are the faith; and they are the hope of all the world. Today I do my part to notice a child, greet a child, love a child, wipe away a tear. In every moment, I give thanks for the miracle of You in each of them.

Today I hold peaceful, loving thoughts for the world’s leaders
I affirm that God’s divine plan and supreme intention for the condition of the world is expressing through each of the world’s leaders right now, and is manifest in every decision they make. All peoples on Earth are united in consciousness and directed by divine wisdom, intelligence and vision. God’s grace is active in every deliberation and activity, bringing about the highest good for all. I know that we are each part of the ever-renewing, ever-expanding, upward progressive movement of life. We are exactly where we need to be, doing exactly what we need to do to bring about healing, order and spiritual transformation. I send loving, empowering, and supporting thoughts and prayers to each world leader for the strength, courage and enlightenment needed to do their job.
